Ultralight warmth for winter missions

The Exped Ultra 8R Sleeping Mat Mummy is designed for demanding cold weather adventures where warmth, weight, and pack size are critical. Built for winter backpacking, alpine expeditions, and long distance trekking in freezing conditions, it provides high thermal performance while remaining exceptionally lightweight and compact.

SYNMAT PLUS TECHNOLOGY combines recycled synthetic microfibre insulation with an additional reflective layer to maximise warmth while maintaining a quiet and lightweight construction. The Cradle Comfort design raises the outer air chambers slightly to improve stability and keep the sleeper centred on the mat.

The mummy shape reduces weight and packed size while maintaining insulation where it matters most. The recycled bluesign recognised ripstop polyester fabric is ultra light yet highly durable. Two flat valves allow quick inflation and rapid deflation, while the included Schnozzel pumpbag enables fast and moisture free inflation.
